In the Spirit of Weekends.

Heyhoo.. Happy Sunday, everyone! Not sure where the week went. Not even sure where the months went, to be honest. Time just keeps flying along. hikss…

Anyway, Have you ever been lying in bed in the morning, not quite awake yet but still aware on some level, and suddenly thinking what have you done lately? Or thought of what you gonna do during the day? Or remembered that you haven't check-listed some plans in your 'what to do' list? yeah thinking about random things.. I know somehow its wasting time but that's what I loveee to do in the morning, my guilty pleasure.. I don't like shockingly awake and rushing to the office, it takes like 30mins for me to be wide awake and start doing my activities. It might be the reason why i'm super happy when the long weekends come.. Meaning that I will have double days to savor this guilty pleasure! hahahaa!

Talking about long weekends.. what you all do during this holiday? Wishing you all a lovely weekend, whatever you are celebrating. Its gonna be good for sure if you take some time to enjoy your family and friends, a good book, and maybe a little me time, like enjoy packed of DVDs or simply taking a power nap all day!

According to me, long weekend is the perfect time to divide activities, since I have more time to be used, I split my 3 days off to spent with my best friends, boyfriend, and family, so nobody feels left out! Hahahaa.. On Friday, I went to mangga dua with Dian, *yeah, girls will be girls* we shopped, shared stories, and made a little plans for our Clothing Business (yes you can check the online collection here ;)

On Saturday, as usual, I allocate all my time for my BF.. Since 8am in the morning Gaura was ready to picked me up and we went straight to Eco Park Ancol. We rented bicycle there and cycling around eco park.. It is an unusual date for us, and it was the 1st time we took physical exercise as a date, its been ages since the last time I took a casual exercise and My God, I'm dying enough while riding the bike. Thank you Gaura for make me face a near death experience on that moment! -____-*

After such a fun time riding bike, we starved and going around ancol to select the best resto for our lunch. We decided to lunch at the Pizza Hut and took a strategic place beside the beach. Although the weather was really hot, *Gaura sweating all over* the ambience of the place was really nice! Will come back to that corner again anytime soon.. :)

Well, after our stomach full, we burned some carbo by took a walk around the beach. The gloomy weather and the wind blows helped us to stay excited *you know, if its hot, I'll not going and my mood will sag in a flash* hahahaa.. While walked, There was a sculpture in the bridge that steal my attention. The heart sculpture called "Dermaga Hati". I don't know where the aesthetic of the sculpture is, but I feel its really unique and it reminds me about a place in Korea where you can tagged two padlocks with the couple names on it, and the korean belief it will leads the couple to the happily ever-after life.

These are the pics of the "Dermaga Hati" Sclupture! ;)

Many padlocks tagged around it.

I think if we care enough to read it carefully,
We will find many love messages that left unsaid. Hahaa..

The Le-Bridge!

That's a wrapped! We went back to my home, got our body cleaned and ended the day by watched The Raid and took a dinner. 14 hours with him in a day.. Thank you dear… ♥

And at 00.00am, In keeping with tradition, me and my family made a birthday surprise for dad! Our super daddy turns 56! Yihaaa...

HAPPY 56th BIRTHDAY DAD! LONG LIVE AND PROSPER! I LOVE YOU!!!!

Daddy's Straight Face : l

Thank you guys! See yaa in the next post! ;)

Silence Day is coming to town!

I know it's been a while, and a lot longer than I even expected. I might have been invisible on the blog the past few months. I don't have any idea what I'm doing recently until I don't even have a time to slightly wrote something in this blog. I knew some of you may think, relax nen, you don't have trying to hard to updates your blog all the time, you don't even have readers who actually care about it. Hahahaa.. Yeah, Creo que de esa manera tambiƩn ( yeah, i do thinking the same way too.. *in spanish*) : D

However, posting something in this blog really gave me a room to at least sharing my thought, point of views in life and the most noteworthy, this blog makes my moment eternal by just re-read the posts. hehee…

Emm, what am I missing in the last couple of months..
Let me do a quick recap, me and my 911 finally doing arisan regularly every month since last February if I'm not mistaken, then I celebrated my Valentine in Surabaya because I'm in charge for RAOUL SS12 windows installment *I'm super happy tho' during my trip to Surabaya for 3 days!*, then my almighty principal came to Jakarta doing visit to all store in the end of Feb (I got perfect 10 from him at Senayan City *yippyy!* and not even got a 6 at Grand Indo's Store! *hikss, okey just dealing with it better nen*).

What else then?
ooh yeah, I got a very exciting offer from a friend, can't tell you just yet, but I am really looking forward for it.. Just lets see how it will be for the next couple of months.. *fingers crossed in hopes of getting a great feed back*

Anyway,
Yesterday me as a Hindunese celebrated Silence Day or we can say Nyepi Day for 24 hours. Several days before Nyepi are the days where many people asked me what Hindunese do during Nyepi, Are they turn all the lights off? Not watching TV? Doing fasting 24 hours? Are they not talking with anyone at all? Weelllllll, I can say I'm not applied all those things during Nyepi. Emm, I'm not wanting to be seen like a rebel but that just how it is. My parents never asked me to do all those things.

In fact, this is what I actually do during Nyepi..
First, I'm usually doing fasting, yes, but not 24 hours, but just from 6AM until 6PM. The longest fasting I've ever tried was 22 hours in total, and I am dead enough! hahahaa.. I still watched TV, turn the lights on and doing my regular activities, but I'm not going outside the house. It just irrelevant since God only wants you to stay passive and you can't even be in the house for a day. But it is all back to the person itself, there's nothing wrong and right of what you will do during the day, its about how you connected with God that matters. I'm not a Hinduism expert but I never read that God will judge you as a sin if you're not doing fasting, or everything most of the people told you related to Nyepi, BUT I knew it will be BETTER if I'm adhere what's on the books and seizing the day to reflected back to the whole year that passed by.. What God actually wants me to do in this world, what's God purpose of giving me a life and what I can do to help others.. Just keep my focus only to God once in a year. But yeah, I admit.. still can't cope with it.. these whole worldly stuff still encircled me.. hahahaa

Ahh, talking about Nyepi, I'm a Balinese but ironicly I never get a chance to celebrate Nyepi in Bali.. I REALLY WANT TO! Can you imagine the streets in Bali completely empty and devoid of any people at all. For twenty four hours the island literally shuts down. No one is allowed on the streets, no music, no lights and even the airport closes down. I never feel the ambience of Nyepi in Jakarta. The city is still 'alive'. The closest Nyepi celebration I can get is by joining the Ogoh-ogoh annual festival in Monas every year.  I highly recommend you to come and see the festival, pack your SLR cause it is a very unique cultural experience  and really makes my self proud of being a Balinese. ♥

These are some pictures from the Ogoh-ogoh Festival.

You see how BIG it is?? A very huge paper dolls of ogoh-ogoh are led through the streets of Monas in big parades. There are 24 ogoh-ogoh from 24 temples around Jakarta joined this event. When the celebrations finish these very artistic creations are burnt as a symbol that we flush out the evil spirits. Definitely worth to visit!

Me with one of the Ogoh-ogoh.
Hahaha, I mean me in front of the Ogoh-ogoh. ; p

Okay, done writing! Gotta go now! ♥
Happy Tahun Baru Saka 1934 Hindunese Fella!

VLA-FOUR-RIA!

VLA-FOUR-RIA is the abbreviation word I had made years ago. That word stands for Visual Communication Design Four yang Ceria… Hahahaa.. That word pop-up when i'm busy looking for an idea for my collage assignment. Years back then 'we' the DKV4 members have to make a logo for our class, then me suddenly thinking to make a logo-text instead of logo-gram. And that was the only factor why the Vlafourria word established and stuck in my head since then. hehee..

Oke enough explanation about the post title. Let's move to the core of the post, shall we….

Last friday was a very good day – an historic day, I should add. hahahaaa.. simply because finally me and my collage mates had the opportunity to actually meet! Geez, its really hard to arrange time with you guys. But yess, the 4 hours gathering together was worth my time.. I am really miss you all deep down.. *unyuuu*… Well, during those hours we exchange discussion about works, recent daily life, chitchat about anything including throwing jokes and specifically pulling pranks on other people who passed in front of our table. hahhaaa.. yeah, barely nothing has changed since we graduated from collage a year ago. Ckckck…

Soooo we took pictures of our moments of togetherness in anytime we can get them, even in an unconventional way, like taking pictures in front of HAN-GANG kitchen, fiuuh.. yeah, goosey. Luckly most of the stores in the mall are already closed while we posed. : ))

THE GIRLS.

THE BOYS.

Posed with the president of HAN-GANG! Such an honor, sir… Hahahaa..

HEYHOOO.. ♥

Thank you Ilham for compile all photos and make me easier to upload it on the blog. Hahahaa..

I love you guys, hope we can share another gazillions tons of laughs next time! Can't hardly wait for the next rendezvous with you all..

Pool Side Day!

Gong xi Gong xi for everyone who celebrate the Chinese New Year! hehehee..
I have been wrote these 'Gong xi - Gong xi' words quite often today, I personally sent those words to my chinese friends via BBM and twitter. Most of them replied with some weird words like "Kiong Hie!" "Kwan Lie" and Xie xie!" I don't even know what those means...

Well, today i celebrated this Lunar New Year with my besties including my BF Gaura. I do a little belated birthday treat at Rumah Putih, the new pool side restaurant in Cempaka Putih.

The ambience of the place is really nice, but i think it would be better if we visit the resto at night, since the lighting from the candles and the spotlight will effect the pool side view more better.

Anyway, I was more than happy because most of my closest friends that i invited are joined the treat!
Like always, spreading gossip is a must, no subject's too small to be discussed.. hahahaa..
This is what i lovee when me and my besties got packed together, we throwing some short jokes, and we start laughing like no body cares and sometimes no one *except us* understands what we laughed about. Sharing stories with them always makes the atmosphere colorful. Everyone likes it. And it makes the moment more enjoyable. ♥

Yeiiyyy, nearly complete team!

CUTE! ♥

Okay, let's waving hands to the long weekends. It's ended already. HIKSSSS!!!
Can i extend the holiday pleaseeeee…. *pause* …. YEAAAPP! enough whining, this weekdays will pass before you know it! ooh work, let me get my on leave days asap!

See yaaa in the other post!

8188 days of Happiness : )

Rarely seen, Jakarta's Sunset Sky!
(Taken from 'Beranda Juliet' by Me . 17 January 2012 . Around 6PM)

*Silently saying* My God.. I'm turning 23…….

Aahh.. Still can't accept that I am that old (start counting wrinkles) -___-* .. Hiks..
Well, Thanking God for giving me such a quite long time to enjoy every mins in this world.

I do really feel so blessed. : )

Sometimes i'am thinking that the time running out really fast when we grew up.. every year on my birthday, there is always a moment where i stood still and reflect back on the year that has gone by. What i have been done for the entire period of time God gave me, and humm, I can say i'm not too satisfied with my self.. ummm,  not too bad, but i think i still can elevate my life's score if i want to work harder. hahahaa.. well, If my life is a movie rating, I can say 4 stars out of five! hehehe..

Anyway, this year is the first time i've got a midnight birthday surprise from my boyfriend which is Gaura.. Actually, couple of days before my birthday I jokingly tell him that i want him to gave me a midnight surprise right at the 00:00am in the morning. He sluggishly said "Its on working day.. but yes, if i'm not tired, i'll come."

Shortly on the midnight, while i'm sleep, suddenly my cellphone rang , he called and asked me to open my door room because he waited outside. I don't believe him at first, but I can hear a low murmuring sound coming from behind, I was more then surprised and once I opened the door I started doing my unflattering jumps and  moves while screaming "Ahhh, you camee!!!". He stands with the cake in the hand and asked me to blew the candles off. Thank youu deaarr… hehehee..

He backwards the words,
because he knew i love to wrote
my BBM status - backwards latetly. : p

*Ooh my matted hair…. absolutely terrible.. -___-*

… And for the rest of the night let just me and Gaura who kept the secret.. hahahaa.. (no no noo, just kidding! : p)

Even though the day is great every year, I have never had a surprise party that was prepared by my own Boyfriend, and now, after such a long time being single, i am finally able to celebrate my birthday with my dear Gaura.. hahahaa.. *kasian*

Thanks dear, you always manage to brighten up my days.. I appreciate all the hard work that my BF put forth to do this for me. *hugs*

In the same time and location, my family successfully slept all night.
Normally, my family always remember to giving surprise on the midnight. It just like a tradition that should be held if one of the member celebrate their born day. But THAT WAS NOT HAPPENED yesterday.. They left the surprise cake on the table *sigh* they might be too exhausted to be awakened at night. huhuu..

But it was okay because they paid off the lost moment by waking up early and let me blew the candles in the morning. hehhee.. Thanks mom, pop, I'm counting my blessing and the thing i blessed the most is being your daughter. I hope in my new age, i can make you both proud. I'll not let you down mom, pop. Thank you. ♥

Me and dad, preparing the candles on cakes.

Source of my happiness. :  )

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The phrase 'Birthday Girl' hangs in the air all day..
Yeah i know i am a bit tacky, but i love the vibe of birthday every year. hahaha..

In the office, i do a minor birthday treat, only for my closest friends which are Adel, Lunny and Lana.. They gave me a surprise birthday pancake in the middle of our lunch! Super ton hugs for you all! ♥

I ate noodles for lunch, Chinese believe that eating
long noodles will lead to a long life.. AYMEENN! : D

I LOVE YOU GIRLS ♥

My happiness definitely not just ended up that easy.
Couple of days after my special day passed, my another inner circle, my lovely 911 made a shoot by making another 23rd birthday memories for me. They came up after i got back from work. Aaaa, really, i feel the surge of amusement when i saw them stand noisily in front of my home.. I love you guys, considering you all spend some time to gather and prepared the surprise, while i knew you are all must be tired after work is such a huge value of love for me. Thank you baby.. :" )

A huge smile spreads across my face… : D

Photo frame full of messages and Isabel Bookbinder Novel.
I LOVE YOU GUYS! *grouphugs*

*Where are youu Keisha, Wulan and Be ???????*

I couldn't more grateful than this. I am surrounded by the people i love and loving me back.

Thank you!!! *I know, I already said it a million times* :" )

Get away for awhile.

Wow, It's been a long time for me since the last time I wrote in this blog. So many things happened during the past 8 months… aaah, I do really want to share the story one by one, but i guess right now is not a proper moment to posting stories. It's 12.22AM, and the reason why i still wide awake because my ipod got trouble, it stood still and i have to turn on the PC to reboot it.

Okay while waiting for my ipod repaired, i will share some pictures from recent get away with Gaura.

We went to Taman Safari last week. Sounds random yes? because we got bored (no, me actually who got bored) of Jakarta and our monotonous activities every weekends (mall, movie, dinner - mall, movie, dinner). Soo we decided to doing a little trip outside Jakarta and we choose Safari Park as our get away place. hahahaa…

Here it is.. I took all pictures by Ipod and edited them via Instagram (my current favorite application) hehehee..

Have you ever meet penguin? Now i have a chance to met them live! hahaa.. unfortunately my camera was run out the battery and the pingu cant stop moving and swim around so it got blur in every pictures i took. HUH!

After having some fun at Safari Park, we moved around bogor and stop by at Cimory Resto, not too far from Safari Park (5 KM more or less). Cimory Resto never failed me with its marvelous scenery. Feeling free enough from the hecticness of Jakarta by just being there ♥.

Two misters who accompany us during the trip.

Done! My Ipod is recover already.. need to sleep now. 1.20 AM in the morning, not a good idea to stay awake. I actually plan to come back posting in this blog like the old days, but let see how it'll get me after my constant busyness nowadays. Hiks.

See yaaa…

LOVE, NINDA ♥
