ASK!

Oooh God, today is mid May already. Never post anything since 2013. Why am I so reluctant doing something valuable on my blog.. Many stories to share since the beginning of new year, but due to my short term memories syndrome, most of them successfully evaporated from my mind.. hahahaa.. 

For a quick sum-up, in January, I turn 24, unlike any other years where I always being so hyperbolic about birthday, this year i am being quite normal.. hahaha.. nothing special happened actually, no surprise, no celebration, just a self wonder that i am getting older but also becoming more mature indeed.. (am thinking if it's really me or more about the way I look that getting mature.. *observing wrinkles & grey hairrr* *huks*) Hahahaa..

In February, ummm.. not really remember what i did in Feb.. OOOOHH, I KNOW, I secured a place for a master degree programme that going to be start in June. Proud a bit I finally got a plan about what am I going to achieve for the next 2 years. hahahaa.. In March, umm no particular event needs to be told.. in April, ummm *thinking* ummm *stillthinking* UMMMM *thinkingharder*…. DAMN nothing special as well.. the months just flew by didn't they? hiiiksss..

Oke initially in this peaceful friday night, while waiting Mr.G's late night call,  i just wanna write a quick post about a quote that i found somewhere, that makes me over analyze the meaning of it and decided to apply it into my daily basis.

Here is the quote : 

"There is only one true way to get what you want: Ask."

Not a 'complex quote' as you expected huh? Hahahaa.. Why am I telling you, it's because this particular subject concern me so many times.. I found my self a bit passive when it comes to straightforwardly saying what I want, I easily feel uneasy if i need help from others, especially when i have to work in a team. I'm not confident enough to divide tasks or delegate my job, if i feel i can do it on my own, i will do it. The worst part is, i always assume everything will be falling the way i wanted it to be without me personally telling them to do so.. Well, sometimes its not.. They're not a mind readers, and sometimes in the end, i regretted my self by not outspokenly saying what i want. Hence, this quote changed my perspective about getting something. Even the simplest one. After digested the quote, I realize the basic of pursuing a goal is 'ASKING'.. whatever it is, for example in small cases, if you fall for someone, you will never know he/she is your other-half if you're not ASKING them to be your soulmate. You can't get the job that you desire, if you didn't apply for that position (means you ASKING the HR to recruit you), OR you didn't know your wildest dream is just a pinch away if you have enough bravery to ASKING your girlfriend to marry you (HAHAHAA, no no noo  for now please remain like this G ;P Hahaha *intermezzo*). Well, back to the topic.. I challenge my self to be more provocative since then, plainly asking if I want to get any specific request from others. It's not a sin, I might not get a 'yes' as an answer but at least i took the 50% chances by trying. I stop hoping for "mind readers" towards others. I applied this method several times, and surprisingly yess its way moreee easier simply by asking for it.

Hemmm.. friday night and random talks.. hahahaa.. I know its not important for some of you, or maybe all of you.. hahaha I just think I need to share it. So if you face the similar issue with mine, just remember,  you can always get what you want if you have enough guts to actually ASKING FOR IT. Ask what you want, Ask with confidence. Ask as if you expect to get it. Stop assuming others will grant your wishes if you're not saying it.. Cause the bottom line is, If you do not ask, the answer will always be NO. ;)
