Slightly Delusional

While the memory is still fresh and everything, let me share this happy moment in the newest post. hehehe..
Last saturday, my BF, Gaura celebrated his birthday, He's turning 29 this year.. *yes, 29..*
I always loveee the vibe of Birthday. Making surprise, saw a happy face of my close relatives when I congratulate them, received a gift, exchange the treats, yesss I love Birthday even if it wasn't me who celebrated the day. hahaha.. But on my BF case, it happened vice versa. He’s not that big on birthdays, so it wasn’t a big deal for him. Humm, I assumed it was because he already celebrated his birthday for 29 times, so it wasn't special anymore.. hahahaa.. I don't know, just a random guessing..

What you actually wished for to make your BF day more special?? Mine,  I want to do something sweet but not too gushy for him on his birthday itself. Well, my plan, I hope I can be the first one who congratulate him right at 00.01am in person, he could blowing candles, eat cakes with me, I hope that the presents I ordered are making him happy, and I hope that his day was somehow made special because of my efforts.

To actualize these plans, I start to browse some stuff that he might need. After looking to several places and based on my closest friends opinions i decided to bought two stuff that he possibly can use in his daily activities. A watch and a polo shirt. To complete the package, I'm making a scrap book card as his birthday card, included pictures, wishes from his family and I added a small column at the back of the card, and wrote "Gora's wishes at the age of 29!" at the top of it. I asked him to wrote what he wants to achieve in this year, the top 3 , so he won't lose sight during his time to reach all of those. Well, he didn't want to wrote his goals in front of me, maybe he wants to keep it just for himself. hehehe..

Nonetheless, the day would not just go smoothly. A day before his birthday, my car should get repaired at the car service and it takes like two days to fixed the machine. huksss.. Right on his birthday, we didn't celebrate anything, he just accompanied me to the car service to took my car back and the rest of the day was doomed. Because of my fault. huksss..

To paid off what was missing on the other day, Sunday early in the morning, I drove my car off to his house, with cake, card, and a bag contained with gifts. I stick to my initial plans, he blow out the candles, I directly give the present to him and he's happy. What occurs on that time was the consequences I have to fix. banded in mind. With my limited GPS brain memories, I amazed I can reach his house safely without being lost. ahahahaa..

The birthday plans effectuated well, more intimate and happier because of him and his family,  He's happy, just like 'the birthday boy' supposed to be.. at least that's what I saw.. hehee.. We compile the day by traveled around Cibubur's area. First stop, the one and only mall, Cibubur Junction.. yeah, never been to this mall before. We watched MIB 3 and taking lunch, like our usual date, then in the afternoon, we went to the lake side resto, Telaga. The weather was really nice, the eazy brezzy swingy wind brighten up our tour. hehehe..

After such a rare cibubur's tour, we went back to G house.. I'm not straight away went back to Jakarta, due to the traffic to the highway. I have to waiting like 2 hours until the cars are not too packed. At G house, his mother asked me to stay for dinner, lil bit awkward actually, cause again it was the first time I join a dinner with my BF parents.. Trying my best to contain myself, the way i act, like keep my self not too laughing out loud.. hahahaa.. yeah at least stay nice.. because sometimes I notice I overreacted if I over excited.. hahahaa..

Nevertheless, me and him is such a bizarre combination, he who is really silent with all his individual nature, mix with me who is talk-active in a positive way *I'm not being defensive ;p* and slovenly characteristic, but still, as always, we managed it up. At least we've tried to managed it up. hehee..

Okay, and its a wrapped! Hope that day remain as a good reminiscence for you G.. Lastly, as I wrote at the lowest column of the card.. "May this year be filled with all that you desire. I ♥ You!"  ;)

When Prayers & Hard Work combined

Wow, how wise my post's tittle is.. Hahahaa..
Well, April was such a roller coaster for me, in terms of works and career.
Remember on the last post i told you that one of my friends gave me a job offer and I still waiting for his news so i'm not telling you the whole part?

Anyway, this is the continuation of the story. I've landed to the opportunity to working overseas. Not too far from Indonesia actually, its in KL. But still, its not in Indonesia. hahaha! I was thrilled at first when I received the news that I got a chance to doing an Interview there. It just a few months after i submit my resume and CV. Yet at the same time I felt confused and a little anxious, and wonder "Well, what I have to do now?" hahahaa.. The company just gave me a very limited time to decide whether I'm in for the interview or not. Sure I said "YES!" without thinking too much, since this is the chance I've been lusting from the last couple of months. I mean working overseas has always posed a great experience for me, if I take this chances, aside from the works scope, at least I will be able to improve my english since its the 2nd language in Malay. Then, I will be more dependable on my self, I've never been live far away from home, and I am really excited on that time.

Well to keep the story short, the preparation for the interview was not as easy as I thought, I have to printed out all my projects I have done recently, revise my resume, made a proper pas photo, booked an air flight tickets, did some research and studied more about the company, and oohh btw, my passport was expired! hence, I've tried to find a 'joki' to extend my passport, and voila the passport can be use again after i paid the 'joki' for about IDR 800k (damn, he robbed a lot! -___-* ).

Soo here we go. I was being interviewed by the VM user, HR, HR Manager, and the COO. Every stage of the interview went well – my skills and my presentation positioned me as their prospective candidate. I did a window roll out on that time, I met heaps of new people there, I learning many things as I expected, I've tried 'mamak' (it's like hunting a cheap street food at night with a bunch of friends) and I got a chance to visited several new places in KL. Really a blithe full days I've spent there. : )

After I'm going back to Jakarta, the company still stay connected with me to discuss about the contract and work permit. Unfortunately, my work permit is still on process (really hard process to be approved actually) since there was a regulation that can't be ignored. The company still looking for a way to solve my work permit case. The decision haven't finalized yet. Nothing to lose. I leave it in the fate's hands. : )

Regardless of the unplanned 'work permit' issue, whether I am accepted or not, the experiences I've earned there was an excellent learning opportunity that can help me manage the next steps of my professional journey. Priceless!

Here we go! : D

KLCC Tower, The location where I'm doing the 1st window roll out.

My 1st KL friend who accompanied me when I was there, Nadjwa!

I miss you Nadster!!!

Trashy video I was made when I am at LCCT, waiting my flight back to Jakarta.

Boring to death and my flight was delayed almost an hour! *do ignore! ; p*

Still put my hope high on it! Wish me luck guys! ♥
